Healing can be a source of panic in multiplayer games. Sometimes games of such nature make healing a challenge as a way of keeping the action fast-paced, ensuring that players are on their toes, and ultimately evening the battlefield among participants when their luck runs out. For example, in Century: Age of Ashes, the player is put in a dilemma whether to reach for that glowing green object or hide away for a while.
How To Heal
There are only two ways to heal in the game (and it does not involve respawning). While flying around covering for life, players would need to keep an eye out for the green power-ups that provide health and heal the dragon nearly back to a full meter. But there is a catch.

The game’s developers were just pure evil and put in a cooldown timer before the player can grab another one when in need. Dire news awaits if the player has just healed back and is already in a condition of another boost-up before the cooldown timer expires. The only option would be to die and respawn unless the friends on the other end were kind enough to spare the player’s life for a bit or if the player themself was adept at finding places to hide.
The second and the only other option to heal up the dragon is through shield power-ups. These light blue floaters provide an extra armor to the already existing health that takes in all the frontline damage before the actual health. This is not new and is widely known for featuring in games like Wolfenstein and DOOM. There are no restrictions on the number of shield powers ups, but picking up more beyond a saturated point would not provide additional benefits. It is notable for keeping in mind that the power-ups only recover three-quarters of the health. Anything more than that would be the saturation point, as mentioned earlier.
The shield power-ups can be found in abundance in the arenas, while the green ones are a little location specific to arenas. This forces players to be on their A-game as they need to get there before the rest of the flying squad loots them off.
Century: Age of Ashes is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and Series S, Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, and PlayStation 5. The game is currently in early access.
