The resulting iron deposits and autoimmune activity, they say, contribute to MS lesion formation. In proposing that MS may be caused by CCSVI, they point to their studies, which show altered venous flow in people who have MS in comparison to people who do not have MS....

This left a good majority of characters previously established out of the picture, and suddenly at that. However, in the next episode, Makima somehow is resurrected with no explanation; and presumably manages to leave her assailants just as dead as the rest....
